I have had this post written for a few days but its taken some time to gather the nerve to put this out into the internet. I don’t know why everyone else chose photography but here are 4 reasons why I did.
- The challenge- I find that anything that can go wrong will but I get to pull something together make it work and most importantly make it look good. Then I look at that picture and its like Wow I did that.
- To Remember- A picture brings back memories. Some are from trips and remind you of people and others remind you of the person who you bounced ideas off of or the people in you studio behind the scenes.
- I’m REALLY bad at drawing- I’m serious. I took art class for 3 years in high school and I didn’t really do bad but I think the teacher took pity on me. Nothing turned out the way it was in my head. With photography I can make it what I want before I click the button
- It tells a story-With one image, no words or explanations, you can tell an entire story. Well that’s the plan anyway. I want my images to tell a story and I hope that this year I get better at saying something with my camera.
I love to read and last year I came across The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and absolutely loved them.
I was completely addicted and read them as fast as I could then found out that the movie comes out March 23. This was Exciting but when the posters were released I got really excited. (more…)
